Before embracing my calling into the birth world, I worked at a yoga studio and in the healthcare field. I quickly recognized the connection between yoga, the body, breath work, and birth, and I was hooked. I had the honor of volunteering at the Stollmeyer Family Birthing Center and assisting childbirth education classes at French Hospital, where I supported several families in welcoming their new babies. I am a certified birth and postpartum doula serving SLO County and Northern Santa Barbara County and hold a degree in Child Development from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I believe there is no right or wrong way to birth and that knowledge is power. I am committed to being a supportive, gentle presence for your family through pregnancy and birth, and I value diversity and support all birthing people through trauma-informed care and somatic modalities.
